Add Media & Basic Features

Media Upload

• Drag and drop files into the media area for the simplest upload.

• Or click Upload Media in the top toolbar to open the upload panel and select files from your device.

Media Deletion

There are two ways to delete media:

1. Single Delete Click the media to open its detail panel, then open the dropdown menu ( ) and select Delete.

2. Bulk Delete Click Bulk Select at the top, select multiple files, then click Delete in the toolbar.

Media Editing

You can edit media metadata in the following ways:

• Via Details Panel:

• Click a media file to open the details panel on the right. Under the Image Details tab, you can edit the Title, Alt Text, Caption, and Description.

• Bulk Editing in Table View: In Table View, double-click cells to edit values directly, similar to a spreadsheet, allowing you to quickly edit multiple media files at once.

Media Viewing Modes

The Media menu offers two viewing modes: Table View and Grid View.

Switch between them using the icons in the left corner of the top toolbar.

Both modes support the following features:

• Clicking a media file opens the details panel on the right.

• Filter media by type or upload date from the top toolbar.

• Search media by title or Alt Text using the search bar in the top-right corner.

• Drag and drop files into the list area to upload them.

Table View

Table View displays media information in a structured table format.

Columns include:

• Alt

• Caption

• Description

• File Type

• File Size

• Upload Date

The fixed right column contains action buttons for one-click operations:

• Download Media Transfer & Download

• Transfer Media Transfer & Download

• Convert Media Format Conversion

• Delete Media Deletion

Double-click cells to edit media information directly. Multi-cell editing is available for the following columns:

• Title

• Alt

• Caption

• Description

Grid View

• Grid View displays media as thumbnail tiles.

• Tile size can be adjusted via the bottom-right toolbar.

• Infinite scroll is supported, making it easy to handle large media libraries.

Media Details

Click a media file to open the details panel on the right. The panel has two tabs where you can view or edit the information.

Image Details Tab

Here you can view and edit:

• Title

• Alt Text

• Caption

• Description

File Properties Tab

This tab displays the file’s properties, such as:

• Uploaded on: Aug 6, 2025

• File name: taylor-franz-GJogrGZxKJE-unsplash-scaled.jpg

• File type: image/jpeg

• File size: 309.35 KB

• Dimensions: 2560 × 1707

Other Actions

The dropdown menu ( ) at the top-right of the details panel offers additional actions:

• Transfer to other sites: Upload the media file to another WordPress site. Media Transfer & Download

• Move to a folder: Move the media to folders. Folder Management

• HappyFiles: Move or manage media in folders synced with the HappyFiles plugin. Folder Management

• Convert/Optimize: Change file format or optimize images. Media Format Conversion

• Download: Save the file locally. Media Transfer & Download

• Delete: Remove the media file.
